Welcome to the Joplin Amateur Radio Club! We are an active organization of licensed amateur radio operators, experimenters, and tech enthusiasts dedicated to promoting the hobby and science of amateur radio in Joplin and the surrounding Tri-State area.
Our mission encompasses public safety, community service, and emergency communications preparedness. We maintain vital local repeater infrastructure and partner with local organizations to provide reliable backup communications when standard networks fail.
Whether you are a veteran extra-class operator, a newly licensed technician, or just curious about what shortwave and satellite communication can do, JARC provides a welcoming environment to learn, build, and get on the air.
